The historic run of Awards & Fine Gifts continues into its 27th year because of your wonderful and faithful support.

For the owner and founder, John W. Robbins, it all began with a dream to use his unique talents and gifts in servicing customers. While working for Tiffany & Co, the world's premier jeweler, John realized an opportunity in Chicago and became the executive sales representative for major corporations. Whether it was selling gifts or creating custom corporate awards, John had found his passion.

John worked side by side with world acclaimed designers and craftsman. Just like Charles Tiffany, John embraced the philosophy "good design is good business". For John, design continues to drive everything, and good design builds an emotional connection with the recipient. After all, it is the recipient who decides if the gift is display worthy or goes into a drawer. During John's time at Tiffany's, he quickly gained wisdom working with talented designers who created custom items such as the Super Bowl Lombardi Sterling Trophy, gilded bowls for world championships, and corporate custom jewelry.

After several years with Tiffany & Co, John was hired by C. D. Peacock jewelers of Chicago to establish and lead their corporate gift division. John maintained an impeccable reputation by bringing clients an extensive selection of the finest giftware available, and by providing a high level commitment to outstanding service.

Soon clients wanted to work exclusively with John, and the timing was right to begin his own company, Awards & Fine Gifts, Inc. With an entrepreneurial spirit, John initially worked from his basement. His first sale of 6,000 crystal bowls purchased by the Hilton Hotel for their grand opening, proved he had made the right decision.

John strives for his name and company to stand for the highest quality throughout the world. He is open to new award & gift ideas, determined to consistently deliver quality, service and value with a sense of taste and style.

One of the greatest tributes to John's pursuit of excellence is the unprecedented recognition he receives from many of his corporate clients.

Today, John continues to work with clients who have been his customers for over twenty-five years along with many new companies and organizations throughout the U.S.

John firmly believes in giving back to his community and contributes his time and energy to various charity organizations. He has served on the board of directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago, The Big Brother Big Sister Program of DuPage County, and Ronald McDonald's House Charities. He is a member of Rotary International and the Naperville Chamber Commerce.

"I believe corporations should give as we would receive, happy and optimistically, quickly, and without hesitation; for there is nothing better than being rewarded and recognized for a job well done."
